The return for repair request is to facilitate an ADE product or part that becomes damaged during operation to be returned for assessment and viability to be repaired. This process is independent of the request for warranty procedure and is based on the following criteria, terms and conditions.
1) The process applies to all ADE products, manufactured or supplied in relation to the quality of material and workmanship and where the product is used for its designed and intended purpose.
2) Damage due to neglect or using outside of the parameters the item was designed for may prevent the product or part from being repaired and a new replacement product or part may be the only viable solution based on costs and standards around integrity and fit for purpose.
3) ADE’s decision to repair or replace will be at ADE’s discretion.
4) New or updated revisions to a product or part may make a repair not feasible, in such a case ADE will provide the best solution to meet the customer’s needs.
5) Accessory items, attachments, tools or implements not produced by ADE may not be repairable and may be subject to 3rd party inspection.
6) Any liability whether in contract, tort or strict liability arising out of warranties or representations, or defects from any cause, shall be limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of parts under the conditions aforesaid.
7) ADE is not responsible for direct or indirect, accidental or consequential damages or loss of use for any reason, including but not limited to, economic losses or other business expenses or costs resulting from a product or part failure.
8) A copy of the original invoice or Invoice number must be provided.
9) Upload a photo of the product highlighting any damage or the cause of the issue
10) A Returns Material Approval (RMA) number will be provided to the customer by ADE via email to facilitate assessment on the basis of the criteria.
11) All procurement costs including freight costs incurred are paid by the customer.
12) All goods returned are the responsibility of the customer, (including insurance if required) and returned at their own risk.
13) ADE reserves the right to decline the application if the criteria, terms and conditions are not met.
